AT the junkyard: How to check wheel bearing?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Okay, I recently got burned. I went out to get a new knuckle/hub assembly for my B13, and the wheel bearing was shot (probably flat-spotted from sitting a long time...)

Anyway, what is the best method for checking the bearings when they are off the car and if you can't move the vehicle?

Or, does any one of you have a spare B13 or B14 knuckle hub assy. with a good bearing on it that you can sell me?

Maybe I should keep the questions to asking about bodykits, wheels and sound systems. Yeesh...

Did you get your wheel bearing yet? I found a 93 1.6 in decent shape and the guy is parting it out. I got a power mirror, cooling fans, tail light and front corner marker light for $60.00. I'm gonna pull more parts this wk. let me know if you need anything.

...be a little patient. ;)

Buying a wheel bearing from a junkyard is like looking for a virgin in a whorehouse.

Go to rockauto.com and get new ones.

I understand that... NOW. ;) lol
Rockauto only sells the bearings alone, and I can't afford a press capable of the 5 tons specified in the FSM, so hunting was the only option I had.

Oh and BTW, I found the virgin off a 98 B14 SE-R.
