Have you checked the fluid level yet? Sounds to me like something in the internals is too tight when cold and then expands once it heats up. That came out wrong but you know what I am getting at. :D

There is nothing wrong with the truck.

It should only do this when you first start out. It is the truck resetting the brakes. All frontiers with ABLS do it.

And if you are only at 1800rpm you ain't driving it right!

It doesn't sound like he is describing the ABS acuator test that the truck performs when it first moves because he says it only does it once. The ABS tests each time the truck is started and moved.

The abs does it is restarted and moved after a certain period of time.

He said:Quote »this ONLY happens the first time the truck shifts from 1st to 2nd[/quote]That is exactly what the ABLS system does.

Maybe he should just post what he means -- but looks to me like he is saying the only time it doesnt' happen is after it has been driven and not shut off -- exactly what the ABLS does. That, and what are the odds that a guy who doesn't even tach his truck over 1800rpm has another problem that resembles the ABLS this much.

Yeh really, he should say what he means. 1800rpms at shift points is barely stepping on the gas.
