I did my sohc to dohc swap and forgot to take out the AT pilot bearing. I drove it and it seems to be fine.Is it really bad for the transmission or can I get a way with it in there? I took some time off of work to do the swap but now I have no more time to do anything.

the A/T adapter bearing does not seat in as far as the M/T pilot bearing, and the A/T is a bit thicker I believe too. If it drives fine I guess you can use it...If it were me though I would do it the right way (I just got done doing 2 5 speed swaps too)
