AT light on J30 gives 16 short blinks at start, what could it be?

When I start car sometimes AT light blink 16 short times.Sometimes transmission doesnt shift from 1 to 2( or 2 to3 ) and RPM is in Red zone. I found somewhere codes for 12 blinks short and long, but I get 16 short ones. What can it be? Will replacing transmission does any difference.I had it flashed couple times but still there. Thank you.

Is there someone can point me in right direction?It was checked with computer, but as always there is no blinkingwhen you need it. I need to sell this car, and want new owner be happy. All other things working just fine and it has only 130k.I can replace transmission, but not sure where the problem.Please, advise!!!

If your transmission doesn't shift 1-2 or 2-3 intermittantly or is delayed after car has warmed up. The most likely culprit is your revolution sensor. You likely need a new one.
