i was talking to my girl on the phone while she was at work and i was sending her links to some nico posts, shes reading them and then asks why do u always have a unicorn by uour name? i ws like what are u talking about? then it hit me, i was like no babe! thats the freggin ferrari emblem, lots of loling later she learned somehting new, but it was funny

That's pretty funny.

My girl tries to call up autoshop companies i send her links to (just to show her what nice 240 parts I'm looking at) and tries to talk down the price for me. HAHAHA.

She also holds the flashlight while I work on the car. :-D

My girl supports me in my car craze and she is beginning to get addicted. Last time we were driving in the '01 Corolla, and I see a riced out 240 hatch. Fart can, huge wing and (HUG!) bad attempt at a purple-orange-green chameleon paint job with 18 chromes. I'm just staring at it when she breaks in with: What an idiot, with all of that money he could have gotten a full BLITZ cat-back exhaust or a set of Tanabe coilovers...I just stared back... I love you baby...

my girl liked my 24o so much, she let me talk her into selling her integra and buy an s14. I think its cute when she tries to watch car shows with me, and asks about parts im istalling. Usually it ends up being a 'thingamajigger', a 'whatchamacallit', but hey, she does try, thats all that matters to me

There was this one girl I was "talking to" she kept playing cute like we didn't have nothing to talk about. Then I gave up and she went with ma boy, nexx thing I kno we talkin bout our cars, he goes to get something and she asks me what car I want. I say silvia or 240 and she asks me if I want one with an SR20DET....I'm like :eek !

I say yeah an she says she likes the S14! I could just stare and think...."I thought she knew nothing about cars"

u know how it is 2bn_S13....searchin but can never find a good one who will let u spend money on a car lol

i see my friends w/ their girl and when we are talking about cars (which is almost always) the girls seem to get left out and clueless, i feel bad for the girls, but i've not met a girl that is interested in talking about cars, i mean they actually say "oh cars, so typical guys thing!!!" and i'm like "so should i talk to u about wats goin on in DAYZ of OUR LIFE."i guess i'll just have to deal because the racial of girls to guys in the tuner world is still too low, or give up cars all together!!! nah i'm lonely but not desperate!!!

Okay, let's see if I can help from a girls point of view.

1. Girls are not brought up to know anything about cars. Usually the first time girls have anything to do with cars is at age 15 when they spend the next year begging for whatever car they hear from peers is cool.

2. Contrary to popular belief, not all girls are into soaps. We like things that interest us. Human interaction, relationships etc. Gives us a chance to pyschoanalyze. (look it up in the dictionary)

3. Guys make fun of you if you do not know what you are talking about. If you try to understand what the guys are talking about with for example, car parts, and you try to contribute to the conversation, and get the terms wrong, guys look at you like you are stupid and make fun of you. Sometimes they just ignore you and that does not exactly make the girls want to learn more.

Let's face it, for most girls cars and modifications are confusing to girls because we are just not interested. If a girl is trying to learn about cars it's usually because she is trying to support her man, and have something to do together.
