at FULL throttle only revs at 2000 rpm

i just put a new used motor with 60,000 miles in my 1993 240sx it's a ka24de and i it's a auto trans. at full throttle it's only revs to about 2200 rpm, what the deal. my dad ws saying that he is pretty sure that one cam jumped off timming. could that be it. well because my timing mark the crank shaft pully dont line up to the ones on the engine when the #1 pistons is up on compression. well i hope some one can help or i have to take the motor back on warranty.

do your basic diagnosis first, check the ECU for codes, make sure the maf, cas are all within spec, ect...

what do you mean ( cas ) and can the codes detech cam timming

Crank angle sensor, its in the dist. You can also check your dist cap se if its made in italy if so toss it and get a new one preferably OEM

as i keep my foot on the gas it only revs bad to 2200 rpm it gots plenty of gas new injecters, good spark, new CAS, good MAF, every thing fine but dont rev
