How people drive will make absolutely no difference to the price of filling a tank. Only 2 things matter here.....the price at the pump, and how empty the tank is.

i really do not think cost to fill the tank is as relevant as miles per gallon which is discussed in a similar active thread. Cost per tank factors in cost at the pump and how far you depleted the tank at fill-up. Not nearly as meaningful as a ratio. Cost at the pump varies across the US and Canada. Higher in California where so many environmental laws are in place that cost the consumer much more than they need to be paying.

i just filled up 87 octane for 4.29 a gallon.... a little over 10 gallons to get me to full.... came up to $44.00

Why you putting in prem?

Haven't went over $40 for a fillup yet, hopefully it will stay that way. I don't run it all the way down very often, so usually 10.5 gals is the very most I put in.

Helps with the stop and go commutes on the hilly city terrain here.

With regular 87oct, we average 25-27 MPG, with plus 89oct (10% ethanol - yuck!) we get 22-25 MPG, and with the 91-92oct premium, we get 28-30 MPG.

Lately between $40-45.I use the 10% ethanol and got 30.5 mpg at last fillup.

it went up 2 miles a gallon after I changed the air filter. now I got to do the incabin thing you guys were talking about.

I top up every morning,,,,on an average it $25.00 a day from just 3/4 full.I've yet to let it get below half .
