Ok so i have a post but its not getting many responses, so ill be more specific. So i have a s14 sr in my 90 hatch and i just replaced the valve stem seals and redid the timing and made sure all the connections were good. well it had to start my car now, i have to give it lots of gas for it to turn over and when it does start it wont hold and idle also when im on the gas it spits lots of smoke out the tailpipe. i tried giving it alittle test drive and i have no boost, then when i was tring to accelerate a s**t ton of oil shot out of my dipstick tube onto the windshield, WTF. Please help me iv searched and found nothing i really wanna drive my car again

Blow-by. Sounds like fried rings from running lean. I would pick up a leakdown tester and see where the problem is.

I going to guess you were buring oil and hoped it was the valve seals?

i was burning alot of oil and when i took off the exhaust manifold there was oil in it from the no.2 cyclinder, so i thought it was the valve stem seals. but before the problem started i was always running pretty rich.

Dude? Do what i told you to do. It's a not a freaking bad maf that causing the oil to shoot out of your dipstick!!!

Do a compression test and then a leakdown test. You are getting loads of blowby. When you have a lot of blowby you have motor damage.

Just do the leakdown and post the results. It will be much clearer when you know where the problem is. This forum can't tell you whats goin on becuase it's to general.

If the leakdown and compression are good then next thing i would do is replace the PVC valve. The valve helps controll crankcase pressure.

Also if the motor is still good and your getting blowby by boosting 20psi then just pick up a catch can.
