I wrecked my vert

Some guy decided to stop immediately as soon as the light turned yellow, instead of going through it like he could have, and this is what happend...I tried to swerve into the center lane where there was no traffic and my whole car didnt make it. Im just glad its not worse! The dudes bumper on the altima just fell off, and a bit of my paint rubbed on his bumper.

That's just a Kouki front end next week right? RIGHT?? Don't follow so close, man I know for a fact that stock brakes are pretty darn good.

Its, not as bad I as I thought. Once she tore it all down, I could see the real damage. The strut tower didnt move, dosent even "look" like the alignment shifted. We already got another front end, and Im 90% sure I have another KA rad. (To lazy to look through all my spare parts.) Gonna need a core support that I have access too. Im sure the fender structure gig and be shaped back no problem. I also got another bumper support.

It was just a good excuse to get out of work, lol.

Good thing I just ordered some parts for it last week, and now its just going to make everything easier! Going 5spd and Turbo!!! Woot Woot! Atleast something good is coming out of it!

You sure you can handle a turbo if you're still going around rear ending people?

Glad you're okay. I almost did the same thing last year. A guy stops hard at a fresh yellow light becasue there was a traffic camera at the intersection. I just scratched the paint on the nose (thus the front-end bra) but no damage. Like everyone's said, time to redecorate!

To drive in America you have to assume every single other driver is bat**** crazy, pissed off at you personally, and has no arms and only one leg.

This is why I never follow close, i'm sorry to hear about it though. Next time just be prepared to stop. Theres too many impatient people in this world. I've seen people run reds just to be sittin 45ft away at a different Red light. I would rather take my time then risk my car. Too much love for it!

Well I talked to a good friend today that used to work for a insurace company and I have to put my car all back together and have someone come out and give me an estimate on how much it would be to have it repaired... so hopefully it doesnt exceed kbb that way they dont total it out and i can just take a check from them... anyone else have any experiences like this? cause id take whatever they want to give me even if it was 50 bucks. lol.

My car got a little scuffed from someone backing into me and insurance quoted $1100. Best of luck to you. And if they do decide to total it out for whatever reason, throw NADA.com at them. KBB is for wusses.

In your dreams! Im keeping it! Im too attatched!

They just sent me a fax that said

"If within 35 days of receipt of our payment, you have been unable to locate a comparable vehicle that can be purchased for the settlement amount, but you have located but not purchased a "comparable vehicle" that costs more than the settlement amount, you must notify us within this some 35 days"

Also I guess there is some "law" about the actual cash value...

WAC 284-30-3901

So is this going to give me any excuse get more verts around here go for 5-7k. lol.

send them a list of all the verts of the same color, same options, and same or less miles in perfect condition... take into consideration "shipping" charges if it's more than 100 miles away.

the insurance company will have a hard time arguing for less money, and if you do happen to find a good deal of a car matching what the insurance company is paying you... well, then, no loss.

well, isurance company, are gonna give ya what ever the car is worth, and 3000 for a 94 is not bad, i know it is a convertible, but i work for a auto body shop, they always win, hold on....you can ask them for a month rental car $$$$$, let see 25 x 30 = 750, ask them for the money for the rental car, until you find another vert
