Car: changing everything, don't let anything alone

Ok here is the problem..I have a very slight oil leak. I decided to replace the oil pan gasket. The thing I am encountering is this. It is possible to remove the oil pan with the engine still in the car? Can I raise the engine enough to get the oil pan out? Anything else I need to know?

The car is a 1991 240sx with the ka24de

search for the pain that is the dohc oil pan. it will suck.
