Update: the engine is just about completely assembled with all of it's accessories/manifolds and whatnot. Tonight (yes I know what time it is ) a few friends are coming over and we're going to try and finish things up. ...At least get the clutch/flywheel stuff on, transmission, etc... perhaps even drop it in the S14. Sorry for the lack of progress/pics, I've been really busy during this 2nd half of the week. Still shooting to have the car ready and driving by early next week.

This isnt going to be a performance build at all, I have NO plans to add anything to this motor besides the BRM exhaust I got and maybe a few small things just for space/cleanliness (maybe electric fans, whatever...). She is slated to be my reliable S14 daily driver, to hold my 240 cravings over until I can afford to build up the engine for the S13, which, by the way, will be a freaking NASTY motor. I've decided.

I think he means drilling after hot tanking because there could be debris left over from tanking it. Great job Fiz. I cant wait to read about the built motor. Keep up the good work -lyons

Engine is in!

Sorry about the crappy pic, I'll get more tomorrow. Today we spent the entire day working like crazy to get the motor finished and installed along with all the other drivetrain stuff, all the wiring finished, all the vaccum lines and fuel completed, ignition, exhaust, and misc crap just about ready to go. Also installed the new ignition cyl (old one was busted), sunroof, and ECU.

Everything is still a little messy but we're just about ready to fire her up. Tomorrow AM we'll finally be turning the key. I'll letcha guys know how it goes!
