I love the setting. I haven't played an AssCreed game since 2, though.

I like the time period ideas and hopefully they can work with that well and believably. It will certainly be a different AC. Hopefully they will keep the Auditore family name and also Desmond, along with a consistent AC feel. I am also anxious about what weapons will be available. The only thing I wish for is the least amount of online trophies as possible. I've plat'd all of them except Brotherhood because of the stupid hard multiplayer trophies.

MoD I think the 2nd one was the best of all but you should play Revelations before Brotherhood. All of them are great but I think Rev is a tiny bit better.

Brotherhood was really great actually. It and the second one were my favorites. The Auditore story line is finished. They were wrapping up both original story lines in the Revelations game. My guess is it'll be something completely new and hopefully from an Indian tribe.

Yeah all of them are great there is no denying that. Now that you mention it I do now remember the epic ending of Revelations. I mean GREAT ending to the story and unexpected. I should youtube it as a refresher.

IMO I hope its not an Indian tribe but I see how they could consider that. My reasons for that is that I need a real name, not Midnight Walker or Eagle Eye you know. It also would take away some of the originality for me, He needs to be European with a family history of A$$-a$$-ins that runs in his blood. This is where sequels to games go bad and make the entire series look bad when they try and change too much of it.

The reason I think that he is Native American is because of his attire and weaponry. I don't care if his name being Deadly Snowflake, as long as the game play is bad a**. My guess is that he'll be a colonial who was trained by Indian Assassins. So he'll probably have a John Smith or William Bradford type name.

I really don't think that there's a chance of them ruining this game series. Even though, in my opinion, Revelations has been the worst one, it was still a really good game. Now if they stop focusing on the main game play, storyline, and the flow of the previous games, then yeah it'll definitely blow. But my guess is they go out with a bang....a nuclear bang!

Main character is half-English, half-Mohawk according to the press release. He goes by Connor but his real name is Ratohnhaké:ton.

I've always had a liking for Native American mythology, so I'd be pleased to see it feature in the game.

I'm really looking forward to this, I'm a big fan of the franchise and I love the history of the American Revolution - it's even in my NICO profile!

I just need to finish the second one.

When I first saw the artwork with the tomahawk all I could think of was this...

...but now that I've heard that the new assassin is part native american / First Nations I think of this...

...either way it's a win. Top of the short list for me, even above Halo 4 (still skeptical of a non-Bungie Halo title).

Ok so just in case no one as seen the new Game Informer, it was a feature in this months edition. It turns out it is Native American Indian named Conner (I keep thinking of that name in Schwarzenegger's voice). He will be alongside the Americans during the Revolutionary war as we have learned. He will also be working alongside George Washington, Ben Frankilin and the y assured that its not a carbon copy of De Vince for this time period, and Charles Lee who commands the army.

The environment looks great. I dont exactly know how Conner plays into Desmond's memories through the Animus as the print is super tiny and thin, and it was also dark when I was reading. But what I could read, there are some bold changes. No more guild like secondary supports. Property is much more significant and goes with the story. Syncronization has meaning and adds XP when you reach 100%. No more Tower defenses. There are supposed to be better replacements and new systems for things that have been altered or deleted since the other AC's like guilds and Subject 16's puzzles. Of course they will still have the basics like weapon upgrades, Desmond play, and dens to hide out. Looks fun, I cant wait to get it.

lol...I think it would be neat to have the ability to play on kinect...in some aspects not the whole game.

On a separate note, street fighter would be fun on kinect

....the game sounds really fun. The tower defense thing was kinda stupid to me, but the training of assassin's was really cool and a quick way to make money. I really like the property aspect of the game. Mostly because I'm a baller. Plus I always go for the special armor of the game, so I've never really spent a lot of money upgrading.

Upgrading is half the fun. I try and buy everything and I do. Tower defense was hard. I lost alot of them. ANd I also like the training of other assassins but really being able to call them in and doing the dirty work for you.

Im so excited. I got the RG3 Adidas package as a gift (gift-ish). It comes with a special customizable pair of RG3 shoes and the game on PC. Thats the bad part. I already preordered months ago with a new 320 gig ps3 and game bundle. So, I dont need the PC dl. If anybody wants it, Ill supply the promotional code or whatever for the game on PC for $50.

Oh yeah and Go Redskins :couch

Assassin's Creed is one of the few game series I'd actually prefer to play on my PS3. The first one was definitely not worth it on the PC, due to complete lack of gamepad support(?!).

I'll believe it when it happens. And, anyway, that's well over 12 months away. 12 months of game releases to enjoy.

I guess my point is this...

Is it worth investing in an Assassins Creed 3 bundled PS3 when the next one comes out soon? If you got the money to burn, go for it. Just remember when the PS4 comes with a $600+ price tag, that $300 bundle might seem like a silly idea.

Yeah but I kind of wanted to anyways. The 80GB just wasnt enough. I found myself keep having to delete game files to make room for other game data. GT5 was I think 5GB and AC3 is 4.5GB, which Im sure you know is alot. Not only that but it was an original fat ps3 that was bulky to carry around. This new one is amazingly small and light with a new overall design that I havent seen. The game disc cover slides open from the top which I thought was cool.

And on top of that, I made out pretty good. In June when I preordered I put down $100... never left my bank account and of course I never said anything about it. Then when I got off early today bc there was no work from the storm I went to GameStop to pick it up. He hands me a 500GB instead of a 320GB, f*** yeah, and a $30 1 year warranty. I didnt even know they even made a 500GB! So all in all, I got a big time upgraded brand new ps3 and practically the free game, all for $240. Ill take it. Besides, I think Ill hold off on the PS4 anyways until the price drops, which will probly be postponed until 2015 anyways.

Currently I am transferring data and then Im playing allllllllll night.

Well your usage scenario isn't normal so the size is a big upgrade, as for the HDD space...

1TB-1.5TB HDDs 700GB-800GB 500GB-640GB (Momentus XT HDD is a SSD/HDD hybrid) Tons of affordable upgrades. I'm currently running an SSD in my PS3 because GT5 requires such ridiculous load times you require tons of space so an SSD wouldn't be an affordable option. You did get a great deal because of an accident so it tough arguing; I would just have upgraded the HDD for ~$70.

Now you tell me. Oh well Im not really bummed about it. Its a cooler, smaller, and lighter consule because I do travel with it. But you know me, I wouldnt have the first idea of what to look for. Besides I dont have a ton of movies that I buy and store on it, its all game data so its plenty as it is.

Anyways on topic, this game is tight. It was a little slow starting out but getting into the game they have pulled off some really good new ideas about the gameplay and playthrough. Some of it is glitchy and aggravating to deal with but the story sounds like its ganna be great with huge maps. Havent tried multiplayer yet, didnt really care for the last one.

I'd probably take you up on that, but AC is one series that really does work best with a gamepad.
