The aspirator motor (i believe that's what its called) is hissing. Its the part that is under the dome light fixture. Can someone explain this part to me? Is it needed? What does it do? Part number to replace it? I have done numerous searches with no luck. I believe its only in automatic turbo cars
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Its just to circulate a small amount of air for the interior temp sensor which is part of the climate control system. Most start buzzing after a while and just unplug it. I thought all Z32 had them, or maybe just ones with the Auto climate controls. couple links:
