Hello. I'm gonna be getting an Injen CAI and one of these pullys. I'm not quite sure which one is the best to get. Any suggestions? From what I can understand they do the same thing. One (the UA) is 190 and the other is 120. What's the difference? Is the UA worth the difference in price? I'm not gonna get the full UA kit, it's a rip. I'm just going to get the crank if I get anything from UA.

Thanks,

David.

the aps is a little bigger than the unorthodox so people that worry about their a/c and other stuff should prob get the asp. Really not much difference in them.

So they're both good? I'll get the ASP. Does anyone know what kinda gain is to be expected?

What makes the Unorthodox kit a rip off? I would think it would be better to replace all the pullies instead of just the crank. Just curious.

Well.. Not totally a rip off. More like not worth it. I just dont think the 400+ price tag is worth the gain you'd get. At least versuses the single crankshaft pully. If it were cheaper ya i'd change em all, but it's just too expencive. I doubt you'd get that much more power than with the single. Correct me if i'm wrong...

For the record... I called ASP and compared to UR's website.

Stock Crank Pulley Weight: 6 lbs 10 ozASP 2 lb 4 ozUR 1 lb 11.1 oz

Some more comparison info: Gates Belt sizesASP Belt Guide Alt. K040292, Fan, p/s. K030384, A/C Stock

UR Belt Guide Alt K040285Air Conditioning - K040345 Power Steering - Remains the same for most years, otherwise use Gates K030380

It appears as though ASP does not underdrive the A/C which seems like a good idea, since you can turn it off. And UR doesn't underdrive the power steering, I guess because not much is more important than being able to steer !

I'm still debating back and forth myself...
