Search.

It's a GIANT RED FLASHING BUTTON. But I'm sure others will flame you more, so I'll post an answer, because I'm nice.

Undersized pulleys add NO horsepower. They lower the rotating mass, allowing more power to transfer from the crank to the wheels.

If you run anything beside stock lights/radio, you could also have issues as the S13 doesn't have a big alternator to begin with.

You're not really gonna gain much, much less notice an obvious difference. Maybe a lil more responsive engine but nothing you can feel as in going faster. From what i've heard It's meant to free up HP since its light weight/less rotating mass. Now with a combination of other stuff it should make a difference. I installed it with a lightened flywheel and removed ac belt, pulley, and compressor. Together all that made a noticeable difference in the way the engine revs.

It is a great upgrade for the money. and as TDS said, it is complemented nicely by removing the ac.

i'd be cool if they made one that didnt have the AC pulley at all, just the two essential pulleys

Be sure that you check that it is deburred at the arbour. I destroyed my first engine because someone fell asleep on the job and didn't deburr mine. It ate up my crank seal, and ran my engine out of oil. A very painful rebuild later, and I am ready to go turbo.

I had an underdrive pulley on my SOHC, not sure what kind of gain there was as it was on there when ibought it. However, i had a 93 Eagle Talon (non turbo) when i put an undorthodox racing crank pulley, there was a VERY noticable difference. I also talked to another S13 owner who said it was a big difference on his car as well.

I really enjoyed my first one, it was worth 100bux. But it destroyed the crank seal on that one too, hmmmm, def sand the arbor and replace the seal when you put it on. Also, drive the seal in as deep as you can to prevent damage. This will save you an engine.
