The front license plate frame is tilted just a little bit. I just never took it back to the dealer and told them to straighten out their mistake when they installed it. Anyway, while I was installing the mesh behind the front grille I took off the frame and measured the holes. One side is almost 1/8" lower than the other side.
I'd like to straighten it out, but I'm going to have to permanently patch one hole to create a new hole for that side. If I don't plug the hole, I'll wind up with an insecure, oblong shaped larger hole.
Can I plug it with a good epoxy and then drill the new hole? Will that kind of plug hold up to the vibrations, jarring, etc. in the long run? The plug will be behind the frame so I don't really care what it looks like color-wise.
Any other ideas?
