hi,

thinking about buying g35 sedan AWD (x) and also m35 sport but I'm closer to g35

I'm 6 ft. 5" , I've tried g35 2006 and the driver seat and leg room was ideal for me, (seats much better than in m35 in my opinion) but I prefer 2007 interior design and hp so,are the same seats in 2007 like in 2006 model?probably 2007 model is more spacious than 2006... is there more head and leg room? I can't try it beacuse now in Poland don't have any g35 2007 to sell.

and If i find g35x 2007 with sport package, what is with seats? sport seats? how it works for tall guy?

greetings from Warsaw:)

Welcome to Nico.

I have a 2008 G35 and I'm 6'2". I don't have any problems with head room. I find the seats comfortable and supportive, but they could be a tad longer for support in the thigh area. I think the sport sedans has that problem resolved by adding slide out bolsters in that area.

You may find the cabin a little crowded, as I do with the pillar that divides the front and rear door. My shoulder wants to push it out a little for comfort. Overall, I was amazed to find out that the interior space for the front seat was the same as my 06 Maxima (dimension wise). The back seat in the G is smaller than in the Maxima though. If you can find an 04 to 08 Maxima and sit in it you'll get a pretty good idea of what the G will be like.

Hope this helps some.

^ He is right.

Also if you are really picky about comfort. Don't get the s the seats are tighter. Try it before. I know it would be tricky since there is no 07+ there bu there is a huge different between the S and the X or journal.

I'm going to get g35x (or g37x) sedan and I want to add sport-packet mostly because of the seats (and paddle-shifters too).

Will they have perforated leather and what do you think about riding comfort with these sport seats? I usually drive outside of the town at high speeds and very bad roads (and I'm not happy about sport 18" rims because of that, I would prefer 17").

I'm 176cm (I know, it's metric, but I don't know how to transfer).

It sounds like you should go with the G35X not the G35xS. Sport seats and the 18" wheels are not good than go for just the X not the XS. Both have the perforated leathers. You can add the paddle shifter later on. Iyt is a simple project. We have a detailed info with pictures here at Nico how to do it.

here is a website when you can convert units.

You are as tall as me. Here in Canada we use both Metric and the standards too. So it makes it even worse.

Here in Canada we have officially used the metric system for more than 30 years. What part of the country is still using imperial system?

JK - I know what you mean. BTW..here is a free program (windows) for converting just about everything and it's very good.http://joshmadison.com/article/convert-for-windows

kocur - I have a friend who is 208cm tall (6'10") and he was able to drive my 07 G35x. His only complaint was his right leg up against the wall of the lower centre instrument panel area but he added that this is common for him in just about every car he has driven.PS - yes he is a great basketball player. lol

Don't worry about the paddle shifter. AzG35 did a writeup, with pictures, on adding it to a G35. It looked pretty straight forward and easy.

I agree with zozo. Get the G35x.

I wish that was the case. We just can't follow it. Oh well. The worst part is I have to program some of the parts in the shop and they are mix of imperial and metric. WTF I had a part few weeks ago with 4 different metric threads and 2 imperial one.

haha zozo your too much.. thats my peoples. but kocur--

if your looking for g35XS thats only available in the 2008 not in the 2007. 2007 only has the X. so you can get the 2007 but X only or then you have to get the 2008 with XS or wait a few more months for the g37xs 4dr.

and from just looking at the nissan.pl site the base price for a 350z in poland is 177,000.00 Polish Zlotys = 79,488.05 U.S. Dollars for a BASE MODEL.

and if i can help you with anything let me know. im willing to make some business having a dealer licsense if your serious , to ship overseas.

theres many a people shipping overseas, mostly salvaged cars because the salvage title doesnt carry over, as i'm told. Idk how competitive the market is, b/c many people also purchase cars from Germany.

I agree with zozo. Get the G35x.
OK, any other opinions about sport seats?

I thought they would handle my body better on the bad road as I'm rather thin - 68kg (150lb?) and usually "comfort" seats are too wide for me.

And I liked the leg support in my friend's BMW, he says it's good for long trips because it helps the legs to rest.
