I dont have any issue with anyone not trying or not knowing, but the responses I've gotten are what I consider a failure. Go back and look at the remarks and then we can talk about failures, but thanks any way for your explanation.

I find it quite odd that there isn't anyone on Nico who can read either Japanese or Chinese.

I agree, but thats OK. I'll reach out for an answer elsewhere. Maybe the Lexus/Toyota or Mercedes group is more advanced than the Nissan folks

If it's Japanese, it looks similar to the love symbol, but that's a far stretch. Also looks similar to the symbol for (Gold, Saturday, Saturn) but once again, far stretch.

I really wouldn't be all that surprised if it didn't really mean a damn thing.

You see all the English clothing people wear in Asian countries, and it never means anything... Plus this guy I know is from Malaysia and when we have seen stuff like that before he usually laughs and says it means nothing... just kinda gibberish.

Those would probably get you an answer real quick. From my experience Chinese people prefer those brands over Nissan, at least around here. In Southern Cali, there is a good 80% chance that the owner of a Lexus or Mercedes is Chinese.

yeah, but at least those are brand names... they may not translate, but in a way they mean something.

A lot of Asian writing isn't even that. Its like if I sat down and started drawing symbols... its just enough to LOOK like some kind of Asian writing to other people who don't know.

The time in particular that I am thinking of we were looking for plastic laminate covers at a craft store and walked by some stamps... They were literally just faux symbols and random markings to fool people who want to buy "Asian things"
