ok long story short i wanted my ecu retuned, and besides him being the most cost effective i also called him and we talked for a while so everything seemed good. two weeks later i try emailing and calling to make sure my ecu made it fine and what the turn around time would be. tried calling a couple times a day figuring hes busy, after three days nothing but a few un returned messages... then i look him up, i guess he has a bad rap for doing this sort of thing. my fault i guess. anyways just wanted to see what some other members exp with him was. should i consider my ecu gone or?

He used to have pretty big issues with customer service and emails/calls but this was some time ago, in more recent times I haven't really heard much negative about ash, he's a nice enough guy and honest AFAIK, he might be overloaded at the moment, don't consider the ECU gone just yet.

He responded to one of my emails very quickly. I just ordered a part from him a week or so ago. Still haven't got it, but I did get my parts from SZ and IPP, but it is ground shipping and that can take up to 2 weeks. I would give it some time.

These are ultimately small operations. Things come up unexpectedly, or sometimes they go and do events and stuff. Given that you've only actually tried to communicate over a 3-day period I don't see any reason to make a fuss over it yet. These people have things come up, just like you do. Give it some time.

Keep on him. He's no crook, but he's very busy. Keep calling, keep emailing.

been far more than three days, thats just 3 days i tried calling him. it has now been about two and a half weeks since my ecu was delivered to him. Was about the and a half weeks since i spoke to him the first time. but yeah i will give him time. i know its only him and one other guy. BUT there should be no reason to not respond to voicemail's, even if it were quick and just to say its being done were just busy... thats what grinds my gears.

got it! so relieved. tune was perfect and octane switch installation looks great! on the bad side my water pump bearing went 20min into the drive and let my fan hit the crank pulley. shattering the blades and piercing my radiator and one intercooler coupler... its always something. she brings me up just to put me back down.

the pump bearing, fan clutch is fine. what sucks is the fan was brand new... i pulled the pump and could wiggle the pulley mount 1/2"... juste ordered a new nissan water pump and i guess im in the market for a nice aftermarket radiator.

Ash has always been well known for taking forever to ship stuff and lying to people about why they havent recieved it yet. Your best bet is to just keep on him till you get what you ordered which you will eventually get just may be months.

f*** Ash. Still haven't gotten a response. So sad that someone that make such quality parts will not get a good word from me. Give me the stuff I paid for, or give me my money back. I can find other vendors!

It is nearly spring, so you know what that means...I am back...Never heard back from Ash. Just emailed him again. It is so frustrating because no one else sells that part...he may make good parts, but he is a horrible business man...

Yea, I now see there's a monthly post on TT.net complaining about this. Unfortunately seems like par for the course with him.

He needs to just send a big chunk of his stuff to other vendors so I can order it there...What is frustrating is I just ordered a small piece. Just put it in a damn box and send it...

Thanks! I'm like a bear when it comes to this website...It gets cold and the Z hibernates for the winter. Nothing worse than talking about a car for months when you can't drive it...

After pestering him on email and his facebook page, Ash has finally replied to me. He said I will have my part in a week.
