ascending/descending posts

Is there a default setting (someplace) that will let me posts appear in "descending" order. Right now posts appear in ascending order and I have to scroll down the page and reset them to appear in descending order. A bit of a pain. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I read the FAQ's and things but did not seem to come across anything related to this. May have missed it someplace, thought.

User control panel (left side of screen) > Board Preferences > Edit Display options.

When all else fails just d!ck with the options.

Thanks. I was in the control panel but must have missed that option. Anyway, made the change and things going the way I want them. Thanks again.
