I also posted this in the buy sell and trade sticky, but i dont think that gets read much. i know i never look at it. anyway i tested my ASCD (its the computer for cruise control) and its bad i need a (working) replacement. it sits behind the ECU which is in the passenger kick panel. you cant even order them. my cruise just stopped working one day and so i need a new one. i drive 30 mins to school each way every day and cruise is precious to me thanks fellas!

I'll talk to my brother about his.. we are just finishing up a SR swap, and I doubt that cruise will ever be hooked up in his car..

If I were you though.. I'd keep my eyes on the NICO "Nissan Parts" classifieds pages. Lots of people are parting out 240's. I'm sure the ascd is the same for other S13 models. Heck.. try PopPop.. I'm sure he can get you one.

How did you test it to see if it was bad? My cruise quit working a couple of months ago but I've been too lazy to pull the sterring wheel to see if it was a connectoin problem.

I was wondering how it 'stopped working'. Mine has never worked since I've had it. It now just blinks at me, wondering if yalls issue was the same. I was gonna try to swap my ASCD next, that's about the only thing I haven't done.

Also I may have a source to get an extra one, I'll look into it.

this was on my 92' vert, i now have a 93'. anyway when i used to set the cruise it worked sometimes, other times the cruise light would just blink on mine too. then one day it didn't ever work again....and then...someone pulled out in front of me and i didn't have to worry about that problem anymore, cuz my 93 vert's cruise works just fine.

This sounds like it could be my issue as well.

if you're gonna get a new ASCD, ones from the manual 240's will work too...around the same years 92-94 i believe.

Yeah, 91-94 of any transmission will be fine. Friend just happens to have a wrecked one that I'll grab stuff off of. Already tried replacing all the CC stuff in the eng bay and the steering wheel switches.
