Who has one of these?

Tornado Fuel Saver.http://tornadofuelsaver.com

Once the TornadoFuelSaver/CycloneFuelSaver is installed in the air-intake of your car, truck or RV - better gas mileage and increased horsepower are immediately experienced. The TornadoFuelSaver/CycloneFuelSaver is an automotive air channeling tool that creates a swirling air motion, allowing the air to move faster and more efficiently by continuously whirling air around corners and bends.

Hey, I replaced the light bulbs in my 1995 Q45 with Sylvania SuperStars and my quarter-mile times dropped - yay! I must have added at least the equivalent of 10 extra HP - those bright white light from those bulbs must be faster and pulled the car along with it! Wowie!

Let me konw when you figure out how adding metal (=restriction) to your intake will increase gas mileage..

I got an extra 6hp by adding a "Type R" badge to my J30's trunk lid.

Local news station tested several of these "mileage gainers" and found no change and in some cases a decrease. Now their test was no where near scientific, but with the claims made by these companies, normal driving should have resulted in some increases.

Wes, the idea is the blades help start a swirling action and thus the air moves through the intake and into the combustion chambers in a swirling less tuberulant manner. That's their "claim", anyway.

Why would anybody do that to a Maxi? That is totally ruining the point of having a nice car.

Here's my take on these products. You figure, a product that retails for $20 must cost around $1 to make.

Let's assume that the tornado works as advertised (although it does not). Knowing how competitive the car market is, don't you think any manufacturer would spend the extra buck or two to see that your car gets improved gas mileage?

I'm especially skeptical of anything that claims HP gains. HP numbers are huge for auto maker advertisements. Again, if it's cheap, my thinking is that Infiniti would have put it there.

This is why the "sure" (SC, Turbo, NOS) HP big gains cost big $$.

You know the saying... If it's too good to be true...
