Post

I picked it up 1 week ago and have been scrambling to get my old car ready for sale.

I have been extremely happy with my local Infiniti dealer. After we couldn't get a deal worked out during December for an '09 6MT due to their scarcity, they extended the same conceptual deal for a brand new '10. Thus I got the following car for (Invoice - $379), before TTL but after incentives:

First, goodbye my old friend!

And now, hello my new best buddy! (Warning, 11 pics for thoroughness, apologies if that's considered rude. Oh, and forgive my foilage, the recent freeze killed everything. No more text past this point.)

Nice

I want it!

I can't tell from the photo but did they throw in wheel locks?

I also have a question about the XM radio in your new G as the wife has XM in her Altima.

I cannot figure out how to get the scrolling stock quotes on XM CNBC channel 127?

I get the scrolling quotes on Sirius CNBC channel 129 in my G35

They scroll the DJIA, S&P and most active stock quotes.

I called Sirius customer service and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I was in a local electronics store where they had both Sirius & XM and showed them the problem. Sirius 129 scrolls but XM 127 does not. The guys working there had no clue.

So I'm wondering if XM is giving less info then Sirius did on factory radio's

I think the people in customer service used to work at McDonalds?

Sirius Channel 129 is my favorite after Channel 100

Anybody?

I got $100 worth of coupons good for the service department that I'm going to use to purchase wheel locks.

As for XM, I haven't actually hooked it up. I have a lifetime Sirius subscription that costs me $0/month. I'm calling both Sirius and XM to see how I can get that xferred over to XM, but they're not being very cooperative.

I see an aftermarket kit that will allow me to hook Sirius into the factory-installed system so it has touch screen and everything, but I'm not done trying to get the companies to cooperate yet.

I presume the dealer did the rear sensors, how much did he charge for those?

The rear sonar is standard on the 2010 models. Well, at least on the 2010 6MT.

The 6MT has only one package option, which is nav. Everything else is standard. I'm assuming since they sell so few of them, Infiniti wanted to template it as much as possible in order to cut down on costs.
