does your car have HORRIBLE, unbearable drone? I have a custom exhaust consisting of a 2.5" cat-back and a magnaflow muffler similar in design to our factory mufflers. my car sounded amazing but was horrible to drive on the hwy. finally I couldnt take it anymore and had the muffler shop add a magnapack resonator. This helped a little but its still really bad. the Artison exhaust is basically what I have minus the factory style magnaflow muffler. If the artison exhaust isnt bad then I'll just have the muffler shop cut-off the muffler and i'll have a custom set-up similar to the artison exhaust..... so how bad is the artison exhaust on the hwy?

so how bad is the exhaust when you're on the hwy? does it have a tiny bit of drone or is it insanely loud drone?

"insanely loud"...uuuh id have to say...Kinda?
idk what u consider insanely loud, but get this My Wife LOOOOVED the sound when she first heard it! haha sooo id say ur a Hom0 if an exhaust is TOO LOUD for u.
-anyway-
light to light driving is louder than Hwy driving (obviously). so its bareable dude. but u know what, i slap on Racinglines (name drop lol) Ypipe and the interior drone dropped a bit..but picked up a SLIIIIIIIGHT rasp out the rear, but not honda'ish tho, HELL NO!(vtec y0!)
i like it, wife likes it, my co-wrkr who owns a Supra likes it, its a neck breaker dude (if u know what i mean ;) )

Borla exhaust hands down best exhaust for the Altima Coupe in every category you can name! I have tried Tanabe, Greddy, Fast Intention, and Borla. Out of all 4, Borla is the only exhaust to have no drone on highway.

lol see mine is louder on the hwy. on the hwy its like I have a bee hive in front of a microphone or something. I have to turn up the volume to like level 20 just to drown out the sound of the exhaust... In the city I love it. it has a nice sound and it doesnt get annoying or anything. my problem is the muffler on the car. I have the problem muffler and a magnapack muffler (artison exhaust style muffler). so by the end of the month I'm going to go to the muffler shop and have the crappy muffler cut off. so i'll have a custom version of the artison exhaust pretty much.
