I got everything in and ready to go. THe only thing left is to turn the key so I checked everything to make sure and guess what, a puddle of coolant under the oil pan! AHHHH.....I hope it's not the water pump cuz I don't want to take everything out and do it again. I used an autozone water pump with high temp liquid gasket. Ijust want to burn my car right now sigh

just a word of warning - AZ probably sold you a FWD pump, if you have a RWD you're likely to have it fail on you somewhere between a few weeks and a few months, unless you got a FWD water pump pully too. search the threads, been discussed often in the past.

now, if you haven't started it yet, that SHOULDN'T be your source of problem..

what the hell... I specificly asked for a water pump from a S12 turbo, but I haven't start anything yet. Everything is brand and I was ready to crank the engine. I wonder what's the problem. Is it because I used the high temp liquid gasket instead of their pathetic paperlike gasket? So weird...all I did was pour coolant int he radiator and there was coolant under my oil pan 2 mins later.

You should have used the paper gasket with a VERY LIGHT coating of the RTV on both sides. The RTV by itself prob won't seal, as when you tighten the pump up to the block it all just squishes out.
