this is for the RB25DET

I'm in the giving mood, so I thought that I would give away a couple spoons of knowledge on fasteners for the RB25. When I assembled mine, I wanted as many ARP parts as I could get. I did some research, and sent a couple bolts to ARP to see what they could do.

Ok, first off, the p.o.s. tensioner stud that breaks: you can order this from ARP. It is black oxide CrMo.
The part number is AM3.350-1LB. The 12pt nut to go on it is part number AMN12-1. This stud with the nut is gonna be a little long and just touch the lower timing cover. Easy fix, drill a hole through it with a stepper bit. It's at the bottom of the motor, so you'll never see it any way.

I also found out (some of you may already know this, but I searched on here and found nothing) the RB25 flywheel bolts cross reference with the Toyota 3SGTE 2.0. The ARP part number is 203-2801. Summit sells them: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-203-2801/ This kit will come with 8 bolts instead of 6. Use 6 and throw the other two into oncoming traffic.

Hope this is tickles someones fancy.
