has anyone other than me had a problem with the arp main studs being too long. the rear 2 drivers side studs were a little long and split my upper pan. ARP claims that they have had no reports other than mine. they say its a casting error from nissan. so the hold no responsibility for my pan.

Believe it or not I am having the same problem, though I didn't crack the pan because I noticed what the problem before I bolted it down. Sorry to hear about what happened to you pan. Since I just stumbled upon this problem I haven't yet found a solution. I will let you know as soon as I figure mine out.

I heard their rod bolts will hit the pan too! But I think the rear 2 can be grinded down so nothing hits. I wander if some one could make a 1/4 inch upper pan spacer or if trimming the main and rod bolts would be the thing to do. These aftermarket parts should have these things worked out before throwing them on the market. I guess that shows how far their research and development goes!
