hey guys it's JDM_1990_S13, forgot my password and info etc, so i am reborn :)

ok spoke to ARP and they said that they do carry a main and head studs that will work on the CA18DET, all you got to do is measure the bolts and they will find stock that suits our application, i should have mine by next week, i'll take some pics. when they reach.

Head studs: $89 for the setMains: $120 for the set (if i recall)

don;t worry i'll post pics and more details, hopefully i'll get part numbers with them and we'll put this to rest.

OMG dude, I wish i had known that before I had totally built my motor! anybody know about uprated valve springs for the CA head. I have been searching all of the j-spec websites, and none of the US counterparts carry them. I am just curious.

CA19DET, what setup are you running? Just curious as to who has what when I start roaming the streets again with my CA...it will be a matter of just a few days. :)

Why don't someone just do a group buy on the sets as I think a bunch of the guys here will be interested. And BTW, if you're not exceeding 30psi of boost, brand new stock bolts and good headgasket will stay together. But then again, "ARP" is "ARP" and who wouldn't mind having a set! Hey Drumma022, if my pathetic excuse for a machinist can find my HKS valve springs that supposedly came up missing, they're yours if you want them. I'll find out on monday! Luckily for me, I had purchased the JUN camshaft kit to include the solid lifters or I would've been screwed and in the same boat as you.

Quote »the machinist lost your valve springs?[/quote] Yeah and when I picked up my head and block, I asked him did he put my HKS valve springs and he said "Yeah". I went a few days later to his boss and told him if I revv this motor and break the valve springs or they start floating that they would be held accountable. he wasked his machinist what valve springs he'd put in my head and he said "stock", but he verified to me that it was indeed the HKS springs. SO now the question was where in the hell is my valve springs that took me a while to get and the answer was "I dunno"
