hey guys tried searching and all i found was 3/8 socket 12 pt.

well mines alot bigger than that and i dont have many 12pt so i was wondering if anyone had a more correct guess at the size so i can go buy one. im tying to get the head studs off my other motor to put on the one im building.

any help be appreciated..

kinda looks like a 13 but i dunno...

Its a 1/2in 12pt. I would suggest a deep-wall socket.

The 1/2" deep 12pt snapon sells fits without any grinding at all.

i know 1/2 and 13mm are damn near identical, but my 13 i used fit perfectly with no play at all in the socket.

do you think they sent me different nuts?

yey they are 1/2 and i got the head off my spare and got the studs out and the cometic hg hich wont be going on just the studs. the cometic hasnt even been ran with they put it on and still low comp so pulled the motor lol.. i notice the problems mad detination on the pistons probably bad rings... theres pitting bad on cyl 2 or 3 and some on the head ill try to get pics next time im there..

also gave up on acl bearings went with graded nissan hopefully they dont have a problem getting them ill know in a couple days.
