ok guys here is the picture of the ARP head and main fasteners with the bags and part numbers in the photo, we have measured them and found that the head bolts are 0.001" shorter than the OE bolts and sit a bit deeper into the head, we are thinking of returning them to ARP, just to make sure we have the recommended thread depth and torque etc... i guess as i think i am the first person to get ARP bolts for the head and mains and we were working with what they had in stock that might have fit i gotta take what i can get and take chances,

i'll post a pic comparing the two later,Photo of ARP CA18DET Fasteners with Part Numbers

That's a good start for the CA crew, but didn't you send them sample bolts? or did you send them measurements! I guess it all boils down to how much thread is left protruding from the head and outside of the washer. How about the main bolts? Did they fit problem-free? Just curious to know. I'm going to take my chances with new stock bolts and use a 2 step torqueing method that I've adapted and has worked beautifully for me.

ARP reccomeds that the bolt threads completely through the nut and washer so that it is flush with the top of the nut or pass it, the bolts they provided are .001 of an inch too short in our mock assembly without my 1.6mm headgasket. i mean this can equivilate to backing the bolt out .5 a turn, and these bolts are supposed to stretch a little as you torque thema nd losen and retorque etc... but under my situation i want to be sure they hold and set perfectly with enough thread and torque,a nd i wisht the same for everyone else, i'll get the new ones soon and post the correct part numbers etc.

the mains are perfect!!!

Mians are the smaller ones, 9mm bolt i think i will have to check this to be certian.part number: AM4 500 IUR - 10 piecesand the nuts and washers to go with that bolt: AMN12-2 & 200-8511 respectively,

check the photo above to check the partnumbers to be clear the mains are on the right, with the nuts and washers above. i may be mis reading the guys handwriting. not sure about if it is a IUR or 1UR or 1VR or IVR..
