I recently traded my 2008 EX35 for a 2009 FX50. Both vehicles have the Around View Monitor system. On the EX35, the 4 images were seamlessly stitched together. Parking was very easy. However, the FX50's camera images do not line up properly. For instance, when backing into a parking space, the parallel lines on either side of the car look broken when looking at the front camera and the door-mounted cameras.
This makes it very difficult to park in tight spaces when relying on the cameras because the objects (or parts of parked vehicles) seem to disappear at some angles. Sidewalks also disappear until the other camera picks them up. Is there any way to adjust the image on all 4 cameras so that they properly align with each other? Otherwise, it's nearly pointless to have this system because I can't rely on it anymore. This was one of my favorite features of the car.
