Sounds good, a local member has it on his hatch and looks great. Any pics?

Yep. I got the same one from EBAY. I put in them in both my Versa's. Makes driving much more comfortable and I love the center storage.

Sorry for not posting for a while. Yes. I installed the one you mentioned from EBAY. It screws into the cupholder. I installed them on both my versa's with no issues.

There are 2 parts, eight screws. The first 4 screw into the lower base, then the other part screws into that base.

The lower base goes right into the cupholder and it has 4 screw holes on the top. You then put the top part on and that screws onto the lower base that's in the cup holder.

It is so much easier driving with that armrest.

Has anyone tried this one? I like it because it ships from the US and the armrest extends forward.
It looks like the same cup holder mount as the other one.

I agree, these are great.

I made one small modification to mine though:
They have a cup holder that comes out of the back of the armrest. If you put the armrest over your versa consoles front cup holder, then the one that comes out the back of the armrest is redundant, and would never be opened, because it blocks the cup holder that is already there. Because the cup holder is inside the armrest, you don't get as much space inside it, and it has a sort of false bottom to cover up the cupholder assembly. To solve this:

1. Remove the cupholder assembly - you do this when you put the armrest in anyway, so you'll know how to do it. Cut the face plate off of the cupholder using a dremel or angle grinder. This is the part that you see from outside the armrest. Here is a cupholder without the faceplate on it. You can discard this piece.

2. Stick the faceplate you just cut off onto the armrest, where it belongs. It will kind of snap in. Glue it there from the inside, using super glue. Now the cupholder won't open, but it looks the same as when the cupholder was in there.

3. Don't put the false floor back in, and enjoy your extra space. Here are before and after pics to show the extra storage.
Before:

After:
Note the back of the faceplate on the right, where you can see the cupholder was cut off. I didn't do a super neat job, but you certainly could do it neater if you cared to.

nice work. I have the same armrest in mine. I was planning on doing the same exact thing with mine. how did you get the faceplate to stay on the hole?

@vancelot: That is a nice armrest. wish i had seen that before i got the one i have. i think that would be a better armrest for sure. when i got mine the cup holder was broken and had to fix it. still unusable because no drinks will fit in it. i do not recommend the one i get. with some modifications as shown above it can be good. but with the one you are looking at seems like you will have same results with less hassle.
