Are these really any better than the cruddy black pacesetters we've all come to know and not-love? Pacesetter claims they have been prepped with high heat ceramic coatings, but besides the chrome look, they are identical to the old headers... however at 100 bucks cheaper than the hotshots, they starting to look a little tempting... someone stop me =P

They say they are backed by a 3 year warranty... ahhh just when I finally made my mind up to get some hotshots....... why why why

IMO pacesetter=crap I bought a set I used on my honda and the paint burned off the first week I had it and the sh*t rusted thorough in a little over 2yrs. I did run the exaust a little hotter than normal though but the paint should have been high temp.

buy the pacesetter if you plan on selling the car within the year

how about installation, do they require any modification to fit properly?

Mostly Im concerned with performance though, is there much difference performance wise between the pacesetters and the hotshots?
