Armada to Salvage?

If ANYONE is aware of a 2008 or newer Armada thats going to be salvaged or at a junkyard anywhere could they please let me know? I totaled my Armada and I like working on cars. I would like to find one for cheap and fix it myself as long as it hasn't been rolled over or stuck under water. Thanks for any help i can get on this. Ive looked around online but people who are buying them for some hard money. For example. My totaled 08 Armada had $20K worth of damage and someone bought it for $8K. I was too late for an auction on an 09 Armada where someone bought it for $995. So itd be nice if i could find something like that.

I just totaled a 2009 Armada LE - Fully Loaded. I was actually surprised it was declared totaled. There was some frame damage in the front, but overall, it seemed that the vehicle could have been repaired. The body shop had a repair estimate of 15K and was all set to begin ordering parts, when my insurance company decided to declare it a total loss. The Armada is in Wilmington, Delaware. Still at the Body Shop not yet released to the insurance company.

I just bought a new 2011 Armada Platinum last night.

I have been reading this forum since 2008 with our first Armada LE. This is just an awesome place for info, and you are such a big reason why!! Loving the 2011 Platinum....however, I bought the same color (silver) as my 2009, and other than the contrast stitching, chrome side moldings and roof rack, a different type switch to open the rear windows, and of course the new car/SUV smell, it's as if I am driving the same vehicle.

I just finished the DVD/NAV while driving from your instructions and photos from a few years ago. I have actually done this mod 3 times now on our 2008, 2009 and now my 2011. I also hard wired a phone charger and radar detector, and installed large sub amp under the passenger seat!

Anyway, keep up the great work!!!

Will this work on an 06 QX56? How do i divert the video feed to the NAV screen?
