While I can appreciate the financial aspect of the matter (especially given the current state of the economy), as a thought for reflection, is that the excuse you'll have if you were to have died? How about if you ended up hitting another car and killing someone? How about if a friend or family member was in the car with you and they died? Excuses don't make a problem go away.
To be clear, I have no intent of being judgmental here. I'm far from perfect and have certainly made my share of bonehead decisions. Especially when I was your age. But as I said before, I'm hoping you take this as a learning lesson. No one was harmed in this accident, but things could have turned out very different. And trust me, I've had a few moments in my life that I can reflect upon and realize that if one thing was different, I wouldn't be here typing this.
Airbag deployed 
and I walked away with nothing more than a small pain in my ankle. The front end of the car is in bad shape and I'm still waiting to hear back to see if it's totaled or not. I think it looks worse than it actually is and I can only hope im right. And if I may, I'd like to thank Nissan for putting together such a strong car. The EMT that showed up said if I was in something less safe the outcome could have been a lot worse. I'll see if I can get a few pics up of the current condition of my Mada.
