My Armada only has 3000 miles on it, purchased in July. Yesterday, while listening to a cd in the indash 6 disc changer, I heard a pop and then the radio stopped working. The clock still lights up but there is no power and nothing else related to the music/video entertainment system works. I have checked every fuse and found nothing? I saw one similar case to this on another board involving a 2006 Titan. Am I missing something simple or is this a replace the unit answer? thanks

Take it to the dealer! If its a fuse, they'll replace it...if its something worse, they'll replace that too! The benifit of owning new vehicles

I have the same exact problem. I am waiting for ANOTHER radio to be installed AGAIN...I've had my armada since xmas. The first time the raido went out was in may (5 months old).....Then again about a month later, THEN AGAIN last week....It's not a fuse that i know of. I told them to keep the armada if they needed to for a day, so they can troubleshoot EVERYTHING. Hve you had any brake problem around the time of the radio going out?...I have. (all 3 times) They think they know what to do to fix the brake problem. We'll see about that too.. Let me know what you find out, and i'll try to do the same.

Those in-dash 6 disc changers are a NIGHTMARE. I tell people to avoid them at all costs. I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE THAT HAS NOT HAD TROUBLE WITH THEM. Ever since I saw the first one (Eclipse circa 1999) they have been trouble. If the dealer cant fix it after another one... have them give you credit for the unit (big $$) and go get something aftermarket. You void your factory warranty on the stereo, but you get something 10X better.

I took it into the dealer and they replaced the system. It's been about a week so we'll see what else happens. I have not noticed any brake problems at this time. Question, shouldn' t the doors automatically lock once you put the vehicle in drive and accelerate? My Tahoe and Jeep both automatically lock the doors once you drive off. I have checked the manual but didn't find anything covering this topic. THanks.

Well hopefully your new stereo doesn't give you any problems. Panasonic is the maker of the stereo, if you need to know. (They told me that after i fussed). I have a couple kids and it sucks when we have to go on a trip and they can't watch a DVD because of no sound out of the speakers. I hope the brakes problem is just isolated and it's not linked somehow to the stereo (sounds crazy, but ya never know)Did the dealership tell you why it happened? As far as the door locks, NO, they do not lock once you put it in drive. It would've been nice for the price i paid for this vehicle. I like your armada. Looks very nice. I have the blizzard color and the crome rims offered by nissan. Mine looks awesome too. I love my vehicle. (if after all of these problems. I like the speed too.

Thanx,Jessica
