I was wondering if the KA will run on an 8.8:1 compression ratio N/A?

I'm sure it'll run, but with less power than stock, since a stock DE came with 9.5-1, so whats the point??

Unless you mean the 90 SOHC, which was 8.6:1. Or maybe the 89 SOHC, which was 9.1:1? How bout you tell us what motor you are talking about.

In any case, yes it will run on 8.8:1 compression. Depends on what you want to get out of it in the end i guess. All motor, i would bump the compression up to around 10 or 11 to 1, turbochariging, 8 to 9 to 1 is fine, but there is a whole other forum for turbo KA.

After reading what I posted, I realize it makes me look like a complete idiot. I'm rebuilding 92-92 KA24DE and plan on doing a turbo eventually. I have the money now to do AMS' advance rebuild kit, but not for the rest of the turbo kit. One more question. I should dial back the fuel if i can correct?
