The ACPT carbon fiber drive shaft was $1,100.00 list price, it would have looked like a "diamond in a goat's a$$" with all the other stuff I need, so....I ordered a stock shaft on Monday.

I have the p/n disc but didn't have the program running when I got my parts guy on the phone.

You guessed it, got the wrong &%#@ shaft today.

WTF!?

I get what I deserved, this guy is 0/2 for correct parts so far. From now on, I'll tell him what to order.

If you don't do your job...........what DO you do?

(soapbox off)

Here's where we've got to ask, "Did you call Joe?"

No offense to Joe, but I have a local dealer that I get a good discount from, the parts Mgr & his sidekick have 91's also.

I called him this morning & apparently there was a center bearing retainer recall at some point in the (early?) 90's. My car never had the revision performed. He says I have the right shaft, just need a center bearing upgrade, even though the part number on the box isn't the same as the one I looked up on the disc.

All true. Surprised they didn't know since they are owners also.__________________Brian1995 Q45 & Q45t & 2000 Q45

Yep... new bracket needed. The bearing is fine.
