So I buy an SR Nismo thermostat because I called the place I bought it from (Performance Nissan) and was told that it was a universal part. HA. They sent me one that had VG and RB listed on the side. So I call again. "Yes sir, it will fit your motor." ARGH. It is WWWAAAAYYYYY too big. So now I am stuck waiting for the store to call me back and let me know what will work. And I have to borrow a car to go to O'Reilly to pick up a OEM one to use as I jacked up the stock one getting it out (MOFO was stuck in there)

O, but on a related note: the guy that I talked to on the phone @ Performance was really cool. He thought it was bad a$$ that I had a CA and we talked for like 15 minutes about Nissan motors and how the CA is much better designed than the SR (and he has an SR) so that was a cool experience

how much bigger was it Tim? Was there enough extra material to grind down the outside and make it fit?
