i just came back from the dyno. i just installed a Z32 MAF and i needed to get it retuned. i'm still running 9 psi, and i elimated my fan clutch. and to my surprise i'm only making 215whp at 9 psi now!!! omg i feel soooo maaaad. then again, i've had the car turboed for 1.5 years and have seen boost for 30K miles, and has been thru 2 summers. so i guess its from wear and tear.

but i was looking at the other guys readings and i'm like damn these other guys are making as much power as me now and they're only running half the boost. drats. i really looking to make around 250whp with my new setup. but i just dissapointed myself

there are a few more possiblities though

1) i'm running 5 zigen typhoons on this run vs. my old stock wheels

2) my rear brakes were slightly dragging

3) wear and tear

4) a civic with a B16a with cams, cam gears, 4 throttle bodies, headers, exhuast, and a hondata chip was being tuned by him and only made 165whp.

so this leads me to think the dyno is not reading that accurate that day. i have no clue. but i honestly didn't feel a lose in power at all from the day i got back from the dyno the first time over a year ago. hmmmmm

what do you guys think?

What was the A/F ratio?

And where is you timing set at?

And why 370s plus an FMU...?

my a/f ratio is in the low 12's to high 11's. i know its very dangerous there but thats the only way i can break the 204whp barrier. the FMU is also being bypassed. i unscrewed it completely so like its not even there. my timing is also set at 16 degrees btdc. what are the chances of a dyno reading messed up? cuase i mean that civic was reading really really low too. that guy was pist. and i'm still pist!

also would not having a intake air temp sensor hooked up effect hp rating as well? and if so by how much?

High-11, low-12 A/Fs look good.

Base timing @ 16 BTDC is OK for 9psi.

IAT makes NO difference in power.

Sounds like it might have ben a conservative dyno.

Have you compression tested the motor? Is it healthy?
