 ever since i traded my z32 i have been missing it like it was a family member...rather it actually was i loved that car and since i have approached my last year of high school im thinking of a new z build..my last z was a 2+2 with minor bolt ons no tune always kept clean but it had a coolant leak in the back of the engine and due to the fact i dont like bringing it to a mechanic shop i had no choice but to sell it, my friends parents didn't allow me to pull the motor their nor could i do it here in the apartments where i live.. so once out of high school im going to rent a warehouse to work on cars and on my next z build...but i dont know what platform i should go for. My goal is at least a 7-10k build in 3-5 years, yes i know thats long but i was insuring i have it in the way i wanted it no cuts no corners a clean build, either one is intentional for a clean street look but, can paint the road and do hard pulls so yes a 7-10k and my options were a z31 rebuild the motor, put the vg33 block(with a vg30e heads) on with cams(maybe the UK) a t4 custom made manifold(straight pipe after down pipe) with a t3/4 gt30 ball bearing turbo or larger to create lag ( just wait) so i can apply a 50 shot of NOS to compensate for the lag so i can drive it around city with out having to get into boost, but when it comes for pulls i have that switch ready for WOT pulls and the nos let off when im in boost the build was going to be for about 450-600whp ...or! I can source out another z32 preferably a 2+0 shell, drop in a rb25 (obviously already rebuilt with fresh mechanical and moving parts) with a custom t3/t4 turbo with out nos making a good 500-600 whp but i dont know what i should do both sounds amazing and i dont want to do a 240 dont flame me but ever since i had a z its in my blood...driven a sr20det s13 didnt like it not my style... so im coming to my fellow z buddies for assistance on my future build and hope you guys can put me on the right track! thanks!

Well, welcome, but first things first. Paragraphs and punctuation. For the love of GOD, use them. This is so hard to read, I have no idea really what you are asking.

From what I can tell, you are young and want a fast car. I get that, we all do, but you really need to learn how to handle a powerful car. If you don't, it will get wrapped around a pole or a tree, the ending is never good.

My advice, get another z32, 2+2 or 2+0, whatever suits your fancy. Probably a 2+2, better on insurance. Get all the suspension, brakes, etc, things that are interchangable on a TT and NA where it could handle the power. Find a TT engine, rebuild it to the power level you want. This will two two things, it will teach you how to work on the Z and you will learn how to handle the car because you can drive it. I don't want to hear "oh, I can handle that power" . Honestly, no you can't. How I know, cause your talking about NOS, wanting to build a 500 hp monster, or whatever. You are still young, there are a lot of things ahead of you, a high HP car will come eventually. Get a car, running NA, then build it. You will have a lot more respect for the car and you may have actually grown in the process.

By all means, go for the 500, 600, 700 hp. That is a lot of HP for these cars, don't care who you are. They are fun and EXPENSIVE. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.
