Anyone following NISMO/Sony's GT Academy? This is the first I've heard of it on Spike TV. Looks like it would be a lot of fun to watch. Perhaps I'll have to get off my duff and get a real cable package.

Don't know if you watched the first season, but I THINK you can stream it off the PlayStation Network. I'm not sure about season 2, but I'm pretty sure I saw season 1 on the PSN. I'll have to look later today.

Fun stuff to watch and pretty impressive results out of the drivers. I had the pleasure to have one of the commercials from my previous job get directed by Jeff Zwart, who shoots the series (and won the Pikes Peak Hill Climb driving for Porsche). Great guy.

I remember seeing the commercials and advertisements for these on the PlayStation Network, but I never watched any of them before. I started watching them a couple weeks ago when I've had time, and I can't get enough of it. It's so awesome that they got the chance to make a dream a reality. It's too bad that I never opened up GT5. haha

And I'm really friggin jealous that they each got to take a GT-R out on a track.
