Hi, all.

I am already working with local agencies, but figured I would offer this here too! If anybody is interested in some short-term contract programming positions that I have open, please send me a PM with a description of your skills.

Specifically, the requirements for the two types of positions are:

1. 10+ years real-world experience writing PL/SQL for Oracle databases to do queries, data entries, table updates, etc. Working experience with Sun Solaris is a plus. Any Oracle DBA or database design experience is a plus.

2. 7+ years real-world experience writing web services code in Java, using XML/SOAP protocols. Ideally, the experience will be on Sun Solaris systems, and you should have experience interfacing to Oracle PL/SQL code.

This would be an [initial] 4 to 6 week project, with a strong possibility of extending through August/September/October for the right people. And, a long-term job opportunity also exists for the good people on this project.

I emphasize the phrase "real-world experience". This is not a summer internship for a college student/grad (we do NOT have any of those positions - the company is too small), so please do not bother asking about those. It is for developers with experience doing this type of work.

And, you have to be living in the S.F. Bay Area already and ready to do interviews - we have other local candidates, so cannot consider bringing in people from out of town unfortunately.
