Are you happy with your Wheat?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Love the contrast look between the Exterior Dark Currant/Wheat interior.

The wife is calling it a mistake...she has the same interior color on her EOS and it's been a nightmare for her to keep clean...so she says.

Any complaints, cleaning recommendations, or wishes I went with the dark interior...from you Wheat interior owners?

I tend to agree with your wife. Went with the scarlet silver with wheat because I thought the lighter color made the interior more spacious looking. But it is nasty to keep clean. If the EX37 makes it to our side of the pond then I will definitely get a darker color interior.

I loved the Wheat on my QX56! I also had the tan on an '03 Murano, I had Wheat on my '05 G35x, and had tan on an '09 Murano, and I currently have the Almond on my '08 Armada.

It does show dirt a little more, but usually a damp wash cloth with a little dish soap in it usually made it very easy to wipe all the leather down with. You can also buy "leather wipes" at many retailers. I just love the look of the lighter colored interiors. Being that you are in Canada, if you have a Gray or Black interior, you will see a lot of salt residue on the floor, you don't really see that on the wheat colors. I have an '08 Altima 3.5SE with Black Leather interior, so I know the pros and cons of all interior colors. I think you will be happy with the Wheat.

The Showroom Car with a Wheat Interior couldn't even stay clean... so we got a Black Interior instead.

we are happy being in Florida - I have also dark currant wheat. It is not getting that hot as black leather so it was a must for us and looks way better. But it is not dirty in Florida, you will have hard time to find any mud.

also I did my research recently in this threadhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zer...nance

that you may find useful.

Another our car is toyota solara with tan leather interior - never had any problem to keep interior clean. But again maybe because it is hard to get dirty in Florida
