All you need is a valid college email address. I just purchased this myself, as the price is too low to pass up. Office 07 Ultimate, which is normally $679.95 can be had for $59.95 until the end of April. I know there are several students on here, so I hope this may help some of you out

Also look in with your school guys a lot of them have deals too, Like I get all windows version free all pay is shipping, and their either Business edition or Pro edition to include Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 pro, and so on.

Auto desk also offers their software free for architecture students.

Yeah. I was going to post it in here but I thought more people would be more excited about this offer and CompForum doesn't get much traffic.

Great deal.

Now, is there any way to turn windows 2007 back to the classic layout?

No...M$ is really adamant on their "ribbon" layouts now. It does seem better than the old version once you get used to it though.

Does anyone know of anything like this for XP or Vista? I DONT have a less-than-legal copy of XP, of course. I want to use SP2, which is fine because I have a TOTALLY LEGAL VERSION of XP. Unfortunately it doesnt like my authentication key even though its COMPLETELY LEGIT. It would be horrible if someone knew a way around this, so dont go emailing me at [email protected] with any advice for a workaround because that would be bad, and I'm not a bad person and I have a LEGAL COPY. Thanks for reading my COMPLETELY TRUE story about my ENTIRELY LEGAL XP copy.

Is there anyway you can obtain a free and slightly less unscrupulous version of XP through your school? I know I've heard of that happening as well.

(Although, if you have *cough* XP you may as well go the whole way and get *cough* Office 07)

I'm not taking classes right now, so no. I might have to ask some of my buddies and see what they can do. I think I also have a COMPLETELY LEGAL version of Office around, my dad might have it. It's definitely on a REAL CD, NOT a burned one.

Man, I love typing like this.
