Hold up now... you better come with some mods, because the GT runs the 1/4 in similar times as the G35. 263bhp/258ft/lbs weighing in around 3400lbs. The only down fall for the Eclipse from a "dig" is FWD.

How is it possible for it to run the same quarter mile when the g35 has 20 more HP, more tourque, and is lighter?

Thus far, the Eclipse has shown a 14.4 1/4 mile vs the G35 coupe 14.2 (2003 6mt numbers)

Manual 03-06 is listed as 0-60 in 5.8 and the auto is listed 0-60 in 6.2.

Now, C&D just did a test of the '07 6MT sedan using the new VQ35HR. 0-60 in 5.2 and 1/4 in 13.8. The engine only had 248 miles on it so it should actually be quicker after once broken in. I have not seen any tests of the automatic at this point.

I know Im new to this forum however, remember one thing.... those "children" talking trash about their eclipses are just that! Its a Mistubishi... we have Infiniti. Theres is a car whose sales numbers are so bad they risk extinction within the U.S. Hands down the G's look better, drive better, more luxurious, and have that true pimp factor of being financially stable enough to own one.

Sedan is lighter than the coupe, so if a coupe could do it, so would a sedan.
