ok so i've already ordered tires and my friend told me they would fit on my s14 without any spacers but i've come across some contradicting info on the forums. i got z32 non-turbo rims (16x7.5 +45) and im going to run 225/50 up front and 245/50 in the rear. will i have any rubbing issues? does anyone know how big of a spacer i need? i was planning on mounting the tires today and was hoping to get the wheels on as soon as possible so i can use this coupon for an alignment before it expires...

thats going to be way too big in the rear, you need 225/50 all around

i dont think itd need spacers yet, itd be close though, and if you ever got coilovers youd definately need them

these have 4mm less clearance than the std 8" +35 wheel. The 8" +35 wheels require 215/45 to clear, so I assume these will need the smaller tire to even have a chance of fitting.

sliderdie, you have TT wheels around? Without spacers? And welcome to NICO...

well it's been a while since i posted this but the wheels are on the car. i rub very slightly in the front but im good in the rear kinda. my friend has the same wheel setup as me and he has gr-2 struts instead of stock and it fits on his car just because the gr-2's dont protrude as much where the tire is. it is barely rubbing on my car though. i just ordered some 10mm spacers to fix it. sometimes my right rear tire rubs against the splash guard stuff in the wheel well but it's not a big deal at all. its only when i turn a certain way, cant remember which way though. i'll prob take the splash guard stuff out if the spacers don't help with that but it's nothing that hurts the tire or car or anything, just an annoying noise. if you look under the car, there's something on the right rear side by the wheel that comes into the wheel well, cant remember what it is. that's why there's less space on the right than there is on the left....

You don't need a spacer to fix the problem, you need a tire that fits your rim properly. 245 is way to wide for a 7.5" tire.

I'm assuming you have the 16x7.5 +45 all around with 225's... I'd run 25mm spacers on all four corners. That will make them +20. I have 16x8 +30, which is close to the same given the 1/2" wider but 10mm narrower offset. No rubbing issues at all. It should look similar to this...
