I've just finish installing my Trust FMIC and HKS BOV.with that I also install Sr T25 w.80 A/R. when I put the new turbo in..the compressor outlet hit the exhaust mani. so i have to take the turbo part and rearange it....thats moved the location of the stock wastgateactuator. after all said and done.. I took it out for a test drive..right there when it feels like boost kicking in..@ 4k it fall on it face!! i was like WTf!!! and i also notice that my boost gauge stop working ..like not working @ all.. so what do u guys think...btw the BOV works so i'm dumb....

Check your piping for leaks, make sure all your clamps are tight, etc. Its a new IC install, something's probably loose.

Yup, boost leak.

If the wastegate arm stopped working you would be seeing A LOT of boost.

well so I slap the old turbo in..and ...Boost! so... O! 1 thing b4 i forget..there was no vac nipple on the Compressor housing on this srT25 like the CA T25 .. what is that??

ne way..I now can swap turbo under 1 hour...hohohoh, and also got oil leak under the turbo from the return line gasket. I think i just gonna wait..get me a SSAC header, T28...and to make life much easier...flexeble oil and water line...I officially hate those hard line now.PS: anybody have a T28 for sale?? and who have those flexible line in stock??

When you re-clocked the turbo, was it a stretch to get the actuator arm hooked to the wastegate? If so its possible that you had the wastegate door opened slightly by default, letting your boost leak by. Did you just reclock the exhaust housing or did you pull the huge compressor side snapring and clock that to match?

As for the nipple, I'm not specifically familiar with the SR turbo but just get vacuum from some other source. There should be a convienent hardline right by the turbo.
