Yes they're real and the stuff expressed is real, too. The ones about Obama, those people will be in for a rude awakening (no pun intended), especially the health insurance one. It makes me to think that people really think that way and that's the reason they voted the way they voted.

As for the Asian thread there, there is quite a bit of heat between the two races. The race war is no longer white vs. black but yellow vs. black. I've heard so from both sides, maybe not in those words, but you know.

But yes, those people are hypocrites and inherently racist themselves.

Any person on there who tries to say something contrary to their racist views, is immediately labeled as a "white devil" in disguise.

Furthermore, I hate being lumped into the oppressor category just because I'm white. I'm Irish, Italian, and Norwegian. None of those relatives were over here until after slavery was abolished. The English ancestors that I had here beforehand, were mostly what you would call middle class and did not own slaves. A lot, when the time came, participated in the underground railroad. I was personally in the hidden rooms in my great grandmother's house. Who knows how many run away slaves made it to freedom because of my ancestors. Yet I still get treated like part of the problem JUST because of the color of my skin.

Sadly I don't think it is trolling...I honestly feel there are people out there that feel like that, and it is the internet afterall...That type of community is very real and alive in parts of the country - why not have a forum for it?

This forum does remind me of a guy I use to work with. Al was an older Black gentleman that was from Atlanta. We use to talk about things at work and one day during one of our talks about Christianity he looked at me, as if I had a lobster coming out of my ear, and accused me of being a crypto racist. All because I would not agree that Jesus Christ was a black. I wish I had read "Not out of Africa" before our conversation. I could only think, after all these years that maybe he thought that every white person was a racist and out to steal other's cultures? I cut him some slack because he was old enough to be born before the Civil Rights Movement.
