I was thinking about picking up this used apexi n1 dual, but I've been looking at the pics and comparing it to other pics of n1 duals I have, and it seems a little bit off.

Im wondering if anyone with experience with the genuine n1s would be able to confirm if this is a real set or a fake one:

another

The split looks difference after the res. On these other pics, it has some sort of Y pipe, while this one (in a REALLY messy room, damn!) doesnt have it at all...

They look pretty similar to me. Authentic or not, at least the piping is mandrel bent.

Looks to be some corrosion at the welds... Perhaps they were painted?

A little dinged-up too.

yeah I noticed that at the welds also... by the look of his basement there, it doesnt seem like he's a very cleanly guy- I dont think I'd trust him to take good care of his parts either. Still though, I can get it off of him for $300, which is a VERY nice price for a (genuine?) N1 Dual...

i have the duals and they look the same to me. the only thing is that there was an metal apexi patch on the bottom of one of the canisters to show it's authenticity. but i think mine got rubbed off by a low curb. they look genuine to me...

Yep, there should be a serial number or something under one of the canisters. They look just like mine. Nick
